School Information
Gordon Elementary School opened at Linden Oaks in January 2009, and a second elementary school and a middle school are planned. Until the additional schools are opened, new Linden Oaks residents in grades pre-K through 5 will be assigned to a Main Post school. Fort Bragg bus transportation will be available.
Students in grades 6th – 8th will attend schools on Main Post. Bus transportation will be available. Ninth grade students may attend Allbritton Junior High School or Overhills High School in Spring Lake. Albritton students will be provided bus transportation by Fort Bragg Schools. Overhills students will be provided bus transportation by Harnett County Schools.
Students in grades 10th-12th will attend Overhills High School in Spring Lake. Bus transportation will be provided by Harnett County Schools.
To receive a school assignment for Main Post, families should contact the Fort Bragg Assistant Superintendent’s Office at (910) 907-0200 ext. 3002 after accepting Linden Oaks housing. The office is located by Irwin Intermediate School Fort Bragg’s Knox Street. To register at Overhills High School, call (910) 498-6277.
